Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Dice handles information in the Android app. Dice is a simple dice rolling app with 3D dice, roll history, statistics, and visual settings.
Information We Collect
Dice does not collect personal information from you. The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or payment information.
Information Stored On Your Device
Dice stores the following app data locally on your device so the app can work as expected:
- Roll history, including dice count, dice values, and roll totals.
- Lifetime roll statistics by dice count and roll total.
- Visual preferences, including dice colors and background color.
This data stays on your device. Dice does not upload this local app data to our servers.
Motion Sensor Use
Dice may read device motion while the roll screen is active to detect movement and keep the interface visible during interaction. Motion readings are processed on your device and are not saved or transmitted by Dice.
Network, Ads, and Analytics
Dice does not include advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or third-party tracking SDKs in the current app code. The app may include standard Android or Expo framework permissions used by the underlying runtime, but Dice itself does not send personal data to an external service.
Data Sharing
Dice does not share personal information with third parties because Dice does not collect personal information.
Data Retention and Deletion
Roll history, statistics, and settings remain on your device until you remove them by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. For more detail, see the Account and Data Deletion page.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
